The Unwind Experience’s website, as well as all of our processes, records and computer systems are compliant with all UK and EU legislation regarding user privacy and data protection. This includes:

2.0 What Data Do We Collect?
2.1 Site Visitor Information
To make sure our website is clear and easy to use for our customers we use Google Analytics. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to know how many people are visiting our website, the country they are visiting from, the internet browser they are using to view our site and the type of device and operating system they are accessing it from. All of this information is anonymous and there is no way we could identify any particular individuals from this data.
Google Analytics does rely on cookies to help gather the data, their privacy policy can be found here.
2.2 Contact Forms
Any information provided via the contact form on our Contact Us page is sent to our team over encrypted email servers. The information is not held on the site or visible to any other third party service providers. The team then will respond to the query and store the information in one of our secure databases.
2.3 Email Newsletter
If customers have subscribed to our newsletter via our website or through feedback forms at an event then we may send them an email updating them with the latest news from The Unwind Experience.
If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of those emails or contact our data controller whose information can be found in section 6.0.
To send these emails we use MailChimp as a third party processor, their privacy policy can be found here.
2.4 Taking Payment For Bookings
Bookings for The Unwind Experience events are taken through Eventbrite. Your payment data is stored through them and only in order to take payment for your booking or provide refunds. It is always securely encrypted. Their privacy policy can be found here.
3.0 How We Store Data
If you provide us with information via a contact form, through email or over the phone, your information will be added to our secure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Database by our team. This is only recorded to ensure we answer your query or provide the relevant service in a timely and appropriate manner.
4.0 Website Server
Our website runs on Squarespace, whilst all of the information that is transferred between our website and your browser is encrypted and not available to them, their privacy policy can be found here.
5.0 Data Breaches
If this website, our business database(s), or any of our third party service providers such as Google Analytics, Squarespace or MailChimp should experience an unlawful data breach where any personal data that can be in any way identified is stolen, we will report it to any and all of the relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours.
6.0 Requesting to View, Change or Remove Your Data
Should you wish to view, change or remove the information that we hold about you or your organisation, or request any further information about how we store and record your data, please contact our data controller:

If you request for your data to be removed from our database we will keep a record of the removal in a separate secure location in order to ensure we do not contact you in any way again.

As legislation, compliance requirements and technology develops we may need to update this privacy policy. We will only inform our clients or website users of any major changes that directly affect their personal information or if we require consent. For minor change we will update this policy and log any changes made in the Change Log below.
